My husband and I have been coming here for years. Great pizza, a nice, friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere. The slices remind me of the ones in NYC and the calzones are delicious too. It’s one of the few places in the city that’s open past midnight.

Great little pizza joint with AMAZING FOOD! You can get Pizza by the slice or a whole pie. They have Calzones, Stromboli, Chicken Rolls, Sandwiches, Gyros, Appetizers, Salads and Pasta . They even have dessert. I highly recommend A SLICE OF NEW YORK for your next meal
Wonderful service, they have beef sausage, and beef pepperoni, the garlic bread sticks yummmm, had not been here in years and I'm happy I stopped in today. Can't wait to go back!
Wow, I’m very impressed based of the area downtown Minneapolis the food is just so good I ordered a basic classic cheese slice of pizza and found myself coming for all the other kinds, the best pizza I tried overall it’s so good and delicious. I visited this place once and I’m coming again once a week because of how kind the owner is and the workers very inviting and welcoming. The pizza tastes like New York style alright even though there’s so much more on the menu
Seriously if you want New York pizza here in Minneapolis, THIS is the place!! The interior was covered in New York memorabilia, and it just gave you an instant NY vibe. The pizza was spot on! It was thin, foldable, and had you curing all your cravings for this kind of pizza. It’s simple, it’s cheap, and it’s so worth it. Also the garlic bread was the best I’ve ever had!
As a New Yorker, born and raised in Queens, this place is authentic and fantastic. All the kinds of slices available are perfect, and the chicken roll and stromboli are just like home. Worth a trip.
It's a great place for pizza, today I got myself a Lamb gyro sandwich and a couple of sodas. You can not go wrong choosing a Slice of New York.
I'm from the north east coast (Philly and NYC) and this is the only pizza that hits the mark. The crust is perfect, the sauce is a tinge sweet with a slight warmth of spicey after glow in your mouth. I'm going to be ordering from them from now on. There is no pizza that compares.
